About Me
Welcome.
I’m Martijn Pannevis, and this is my space (not as in MySpace).

I like boating (on motorboats, sailingboats, rowingboat, surf boards, you’ll get the idea…). I love Wintersport (mainly snowboarding) and mountaineering (I climbed Mont Blanc once!).
And I do a lot of geeky stuff. I program (mainly in web related languages: PHP/HTML/Javascript/CSS). I’m really interested in cloud computing, web 2.0 services, dataportibility. And a lot of my projects have something to do with the internet outside of web browsers: For example on mobile phones. But I have also done stuff on set-top boxes, routers, etc.
These days most of my projects involve mobile phones: I have built iPhone apps for the NOS, ING, Layar and the Vara, and am working on android versions of some of them. I have also organised events around mobile phones: I’m one of the organisers of Mobile Monday Amsterdam and I have organized Android Devcamp, Vodafone Widgetcamp and Mobile Devcamps in Amsterdam. I also give talks about the past and future of (mobile) internet developments.
I have been doing online things for the last 12 years (and if you’r nice, I’ll show you my first page...
)
I once founded a company called Nulaz, where I was the CTO. Before that I finished my studies at the UvA with a thesis on LBS.
I suck at design (so I use a standard template for this page).
I’m on Hyves, LinkedIn, Jaiku, Twitter and Flickr
If you somehow want to contact me, mail me on mail at martijnpannevis in NL (does that make sense?)
ik snap eigenlijk niet wat je nu precies doet…kan aan mij liggen. Kwam je alleen tegen als naamgenoot vandaar dat ik even bleef hangen!!
groetjes
